Al Galland Al was CFO and then Chief Operating Officer of Robert Half/Accountemps, Vice President of the Olsten Corporation, and national head of Olsten's temporary accounting operation. PRO-FIT's affiliation with Mel Evans Associates Inc., an established and well-respected specialist in the recruitment of financial professionals, enables us to also offer clients superior permanent, as well as short- and long-term temporary financial staffing capabilities.
Marty Friedman Marty, a CPA, graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. Following college, Marty joined Ernst & Young as an auditor and then began recruiting for a major international recruitment firm for 5 years, where he became Vice President in the Long Island office. Marty is currently a Partner of Mel Evans where he has been employed for the past 10 years specializing in financial services, such as brokerage and hedge funds.
Howard Dickson Howard graduated from Binghamton University in 1976 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. He joined Prager & Fenton, a CPA firm specializing in the entertainment field, as an auditor. Howard later began recruiting for a major international recruitment firm for more than 10 years and became Vice President in the New York office. Howard co-founded Mel Evans 15 years ago and is currently a partner.
David Newman David graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. He started working at S.D. Leidesdorf & Company as an auditor and soon thereafter moved into the Human Resources Department for an additional 4 years. David became a recruiter, joined one of the largest financial recruitment firms, and became Executive Vice President running the New York office. David has been working at Mel Evans since 1998, primarily servicing the real estate/accounting clientele.
